My sister and I had a good takeaway from Vijay Krishna. We enjoyed chicken bhuna, chicken tikka masala, a dosa, samosas and a paratha. Excellent quality ingredients and the curries were tasty - the dosa I wasn&rsquo;t so impressed with and paratha not so much to my taste. Overall I think this is a very good takeaway but not my most favourite in the area. Prices were reasonable.

Vijaya Krishna

Have been to this restaurant a number of times and is winning for my current favourite in my area. The atmosphere is very pleasant, nice music, and it is very light and airy, with lovely decorations. The service is good, and also the food is delicious. Lots of traditional South Indian delicacies, the Keralan Fish Curry being my favourite.

My husband and I have been eating here for years. Good honest Indian food. Staff aren&#39;t overly effusive but are always quick to greet you at the door when you enter. Service is always pretty efficient. Have tried many dishes and haven&#39;t had a bad one. The restaurant had a good makeover a few years back and the only draw back is that now we sometimes cannot get a table! Would definitely recommend for a curry.

I went here on Friday evening to meet up with friends. On entering I was the first customer however the two male staff did not bother greating me nor did they get up, instead they pointed to a table when I told them I was meeting with friends for a meal. No drink was offered, I had to ask for this, when my friends came they also were not offered drinks. The food was mediocre, the sauces in the dishes have no texture as everything ordered was pureed, I felt I was eating a smoothie! We weren&#39;t offered desserts (turned out they didn&#39;t have any), instead we were presented with the bill when we hadn&#39;t quite finished. Service charge was added but we refused to pay due to the poor service, but this was questioned several times by the polite waitress (at the request of the male staff). The decor is fresh and simple, but service poor and food average; the place will appeal to young professionals, who are new to any city, want to appear trendy and pretend this is real southern Indian food, I assure you it isn&#39;t

Unlocked a new store, chose this one according to the evaluation, even eating and drinking are very satisfied, very good food is very fast, fortunately did not wait too long, the taste is very refreshing, not tired at all, recommend friends who like similar tastes to come!

A great atmosphere with retro Italian music, fabulous food. A very friendly and obliging host. One of our favourite restaurants.
